Hangman Productions is an emerging film production company,
focused on seeking out undiscovered screenwriters, and developing
a pipeline between talented screenwriters and the filmmaking industry,
as well as developing independent film projects. We are dedicated

We are excited to kick off the 3rd Annual Screenplay
Shootout! and we look forward to discovering a new crop of talented
writers. We anticipate that this year's finalists will reach the
same heights as our previous finalists, who have garnered representation,
received additional acclaim in other contests, and taken important
steps toward the production of their screenplays, through their
participation in The Screenplay Shootout!
